INTERNATIONAL CRIME ALERT: FADHIL

The United States has established a list of "Most Wanted Terrorists." Several of the fugitives on this list, including Osama bin Laden, are part of al-Qaida, the terrorist group responsible for the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Others are wanted in connection with previous terrorist attacks.

Mustafa Mohamed Fadhil [MOOS-tah-fah mo-HAH-med FAH-dil] is wanted for the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. He is also wanted for conspiring to kill U.S. citizens. He is believed to be a key operative in bin Laden’s al-Qaida network.

Mustafa Mohamed Fadhil was born on June 23rd, 1976, in Cairo, Egypt. He is a citizen of Egypt and Kenya. He has short, black, curly hair. He has dark eyes and an olive complexion. He is about one-meter sixty centimeters tall, and he weighs between fifty-five and sixty-five kilograms.

Fadhil uses many aliases, including Abd Al Wakil Al Masri [ABD ahl wah-keel ahl MAHS-ree], Abu Yussrr [AH-boo YOOS-sir], Hassan Ali [HAHS-sahn AH-lee], Hussein, and Brother Khalid. He speaks Arabic and Swahili, and reads English.

The U.S. is offering a reward of up to twenty-five-million dollars for information leading to the arrest of Mustafa Mohamed Fadhil. If you have information concerning this fugitive, you should contact the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. The identities of all informants will be kept confidential.
