A DECADE OF TELECASTS TO AFRICA Washington, D.C., April 5, 2001 -- WORLDNET Television's Africa Journal marks its 10th anniversary on the air at 2:00 p.m. today with a program on the legal dispute surrounding access to affordable drugs in the f ight against AIDS in Africa. Widely viewed by policy makers throughout Africa, the live television program has spent the past decade focussing on political, social, health, and human rights issues that most affect Africans. Africa Journal is a weekly public affairs call-in television series giving African journalists and viewers direct access to news and opinion makers.
