From international trade and democracy, to immigration and drugs our  program tackles topics important to Latin America and the world.  Produced entirely in Spanish, "Foro Interamericano" is broadcast live every week from WORLDNET's studios in Washington,  D.C.

Foro Interamericano takes viewers to the most important events in the Americas by broadcasting live from various countries. Just this year, "Foro" went to Costa Rica for the first Central American Summit Against Corruption and Drug Trafficking...and to Chile for the presidential election of Socialist Ricardo Lagos.  Previously, "Foro" covered the OAS General Assembly in Guatemala and went to Honduras for President Clinton's historic visit Central America.

Many outstanding leaders and internationally known personalities have appeared on "Foro Interamericano", including the President of Honduras, Carlos Flores the President of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, and the former President of Uruguay, Julio Maria Sanguinetti.  Leaders  representing the administration of President Bill Clinton have also appeared, such as White House Deputy Chief of Staff María Echaveste, U.S. Undersecretary of Defense, Ana María Salazar and White House National Security spokesman, Michael Hammer.

Many diplomats, political leaders, and industrialists representing Latin America and the United States have also been guests of "Foro."  Our distinguished guests debate current issues with a panel of Washington-based correspondents from the most prestigious international news organizations and agencies.
